DC Current Charging and Discharging Control of a Flywheel Battery Driven by Switched Reluctance Machine

摘要:

设计了一种飞轮电池系统,主要由五部分组成:电源端功率变换器、励磁电容、电机端功率变换器、集成飞轮的开关磁阻电机以及控制系统。为了增强系统的适用性,所设计的电源端功率变换器,在实现能量双向流动功能的同时,还可在两个方向均实现升降压功能,而且变换器中的一个电容充当电机的励磁电源功能,简化了系统的结构。充电时,使用电流斩波与角度位置两者结合的控制方式,实现了对飞轮电池输出功率的快速控制;放电时,使用角度位置与电压斩波相结合的控制方法,实现对输出电压和输出功率的控制。建立了相应的Matlab仿真模型,验证了所提出的飞轮电池储能/释能控制策略的有效性,及其在光伏发电站中用于功率平滑的可行性。

Abstract:

A flywheel battery system is designed which is mainly composed of five parts: power converter in power side, excitation capacitor, power converter in machine side, switched reluctance machine integrated with a flywheel and the control system. In order to enhance the suitability of the system, a new DC-DC converter is used which can realize bi-directional power flow and boost-buck function in both directions at the same time. Meanwhile, a capacitance in the converter acts as the excitation power of SRM, so that the structure of the system is simplified. In the charging stage, current chopping method and angle position control is used to achieve control of the flywheel battery output power. In the Discharging stage, angle position control method combined with voltage chopper control method is used to realize control of output voltage and output power. A simulation model is set up by Matlab to verify the effectiveness of the energy storage/release control strategy and its feasibility of power smoothing in the photovoltaic power station by using the flywheel battery.
