A Comprehensive Review on Anti-interference Technology for DC Arc Fault Detection in Photovoltaic System

Abstract:

The DC side electrical environment of photovoltaic system is complex, especially in the early stage of PV power plant. Due to factors such as aging of equipment and cables and relatively backward equipment technology, the threat of DC arc fault is becoming more and more serious, which also poses severe challenges for fault detection. The causes of DC arc in photovoltaic power generation system and the complexity of arc fault detection and reviews the current DC system fault detection methods and anti-interference technologies for photovoltaic systems are expounded. In combination with the actual situation of distributed photovoltaic sites, the problems that need to be solved urgently at present are put forward from the application point of view. Finally, the future development of arc fault detection technology is discussed.
