Abstract:

Distributed generators have meaningful effect on distribution network, such as powerloss reduction, voltage and load capacity improvement, enhance system reliability and security. This paper proposes a method to calculate the location and size of multi-distributed generatorsby considering two indices: active power losses and voltage stability. The method makes two goals into a single target.By solving the active and reactive component of distributed generators branch current to determine the location and size of distributed generators accessed to the distribution network. The method is to minimizing the network active power loss and enhancing node voltage stability. Then this method throughs Matlab computing and obtains a series of nodes, which make distribution network minimum active power losses, best node voltage stability. Finally, this method use DIgSILENTPowerFactoryof IEEE-33 and US PG & E69 nodes distribution network to verify the simulation results, and simulation results show the superiority of the proposed method.
