Research on the Reservation Matching Algorithm for Electric Vehicles Charging

Abstract:

Electric vehicles (EV) is not only the main trend of the development of new energy vehicles, but also the inevitable choice of the future sustainable social development. However, range anxiety and long queues have seriously restricted the development of EV, and how to charge them quickly is the focus of current research. For the quick charge of EV, an idea of the EV fast charging reservation is proposed by comprehensively considering different time slots, taking the reservation system for third party service platform as the link connecting charging stations with users, charging piles are matched with cars after specifying the number of charging piles in the region, the number of cars applying for charging during the time slot and the time of completing current charge mission, and the number of remaining appointments is matched to maximally solve the problem of charge congestion and improve the charge efficiency of EV users during the period of low ebb. Finally, through simulation tests, it is showed that this algorithm can effectively solve the queuing problem during the process of charging.
