Abstract:

During power system restoration, it is necessary to restore the load for balancing the increasing output of the generator, but the restoration of load may cause over-voltage of restored nodes, which would affect the safety of power system recovery. In this paper, based on the sensitivity approach, the load distribution scheme is presentedto satisfy the voltage requirements of each node. Firstly, based on the power flow calculation, the sensitivities between the most severityover-voltage node and other load nodes are calculated. The load adjust capacity of the most sensitive load node is calculated according to its sensitivity, which is equal allocated to other load nodes. Above steps will berecalled untilthe voltages of all nodes are security. The validity of the proposed method is verified in IEEE 39-bus testing system.
