Abstract:

Based on the effect of magnetic fields on cells, the electromagnetic field algae removal method has become an emerging algae removal technology. Due to the diversity of algae populations, a fixed magnetic field can only solve a single alga. In order to remove multiple algae groups and improve algae removal efficiency, taking advantage of the wide spectrum of alternating triangular waves, a new technology of algae removal by alternating magnetic field is proposed. An alternating magnetic field is generated by an alternating triangular wave through an inductor, a set of generators capable of generating stable high-frequency alternating triangle waves is designed, and an experimental platform is set up. Experiments are performed on algae by changing the frequency to generate different magnetic fields. Finally, algae are compared before and after the experiment. The results show that within the frequency range, the higher the frequency, the higher the removal rate of algal bodies.
