Research on Suppression Method of EMU DC-Link Beat Phenomenon

Abstract:

With the rapid development of nationwide urbanization, there is a growing demand for intercity transportation. EMU becomes the preferred intercity transport with its flexible marshalling approach and excellent speed performance. Beat phenomenon in EMU traction converters can lead to system loss, severe fever and mechanical shaking. Combined with structural characteristics of single-phase rectifier, sources and influence on the beat phenomenon are analyzed in the paper. The suppression methods of beat phenomenon at home and abroad are compared. The advantages and disadvantages of control modes are summarized.
