Abstract:

Sag height of the overhead transmission lines image grid is a key factor in the safe operation of the line. For reasonable line route planning and testing sag height, based on catenary equation and three-dimensional GIS, 3D modeling techniques, using C language, a 3D simulation platform is built for the transmission line to simulate three-dimensional scene. Under different conditions, the stress changes resulting in lines, thereby affecting sag height, so that the platform supports full-line three-dimensional simulation scene conditions, depending on the conditions prescribed safe distance accurately calculate the distance between the lines and the shortest distance calibration, which greatly improves the planning of scientific information for the construction of power grids, precise reference and ensure the safe operation of transmission lines.
