Hybrid DC Circuit Breaker Based on Coupled Negative Pressure Circuit Research of Topological Analysis

Abstract:

With the development of DC transmission, the reliability requirements of DC transmission system becomes higher. Aiming at how to use the DC circuit breaker with large current to cut off the fault equipment or lines in a few milliseconds in DC power grid, a low loss forced commutation hybrid DC circuit breaker based on the coupling negative pressure circuit and the series connection of electric force electronic switch is proposed. Through the analysis and research of the topological structure principle, the coupling negative pressure circuit can ensure the reliability of the current transfer process under each current level. It combines the advantages of mechanical switch and solid-state switch, with low on-state loss and good breaking characteristics, and it has a certain application prospect.
