Simulation Research on Induction Heating Technology of High Power Electromagnetic Thermal Energy Storage System

Abstract:

24kHz/100kW electromagnetic thermal energy storage system is took as the research object in the paper. The system turn the clean electrical energy from the new energy power generation system into heat by electromagnetic induction heating, and the heat will be used or stored. Firstly, Ansoft-Maxwell is used to get the magnetic induction intensity of the electromagnetic induction heating model in eddy current field. Then Ansys/Fluent is used to analysis the fluid temperature field of the electromagnetic induction heating model. The power supply design of induction heating system plays a vital role in the electromagnetic thermal energy storage system. Matlab/Simulink is used to model and simulate the series resonance circuit of electromagnetic induction heating power source, the circuit characteristic curve of the resonance condition is got. The simulation shows the PLL phase-locked loop signal, the PWM full bridge inverter trigger signal. The research provides a theoretical basis for the induction heating power supply of electromagnetic thermal energy storage system.
