Design of Solar Collector Circuit Based on Boost Topology

Abstract:

In order to improve the efficiency of solar energy collection and enhance the realizability of the collection device, a solar collector circuit based on Boost topology is designed. In the design, the working point of maximum power point tracking (MPPT)for photovoltaic cell is determined by monitoring the state of photovoltaic cell in real time, the impedance matching between the photovoltaic cell and the user load is realized by high frequency pulse width modulation (PWM), and the MPPT working state of photovoltaic cell is guaranteed by tracking the MPPT working point through the current closed-loop control mode on the Boost circuit. The theoretical analysis and experimental results show that the solar energy collection efficiency of the collecting circuit can be maximized.
