Scheduling of Micro-Grid Considering Electrical Vehicles of Time-of-Use Tariffs

Abstract: Aim

ing to the micro-grid containing EV (electric vehicle) load,the scheduling method is proposed for micro-grid, considering the load of time-of-use tariffs. The affections of time-of-use tariffs on charging probability of EVs is analyzed, and then is used to calculate the EVs load. The scheduling model is built for micro-grid including many sources and loads, such as, EVs, wind turbines, photovoltaic cells, micro gas turbines, diesel engines. Based on this model, the weights particle swarm optimization (PSO) is used to search the optimal scheduling policy. The results show that the proposed method can obtain the micro-economic dispatch policy containing time-of-use tariffs of EVs load and the schedulingis effective and feasible.
