Abstract:

The design of the motor is a comprehensive design of multiple physical fields. In this paper, 10kW, 10 000r/min permanent magnet brushless DC high-speed motor is designed. For surface mount radial excitation and embedded two rotor structure respectively, the high speed brushless DC motor is subjected to force analysis, loss analysis and temperature field analysis on the embedded rotor and different jacket surface. On the basis of multi-physics analysis and simulation, the comprehensive design results of rotor strength, loss and temperature rise are obtained. The calculation of the electromagnetic field and the thermal field of the brushless DC motor are analyzed. The loss and heat field distribution of the two kinds of motor structures are studied. This method not only can accurately calculate the internal loss of the motor, but also can get the internal loss of the motor thermal field between the energy interaction process and the study of the motor heating problem. Through the comparison of the simulation results, it is found that the heat dissipation of the surface structure is serious, and the embedded structure has magnetic flux leakage at the end of the magnet, which causes the current waveform to cause distortion.
