Abstract:

The combined electro-thermal system has higher flexibility which can accommodate more wind power. Considering the uncertainty of wind power in day-ahead economic dispatch of combined electro-thermal system is a subject that needs to be studied. Wind power forecast error can be described as variable of probability following normal distribution. Sampling and scenario reduction are used to obtain stochastic scenes with certain probability. Aiming to minimize the expected value of the operating cost, considering the operating constraints of the combined electro-thermal system and the reserve constraints of thermal power units in each scenario, a day-ahead economic dispatch model of combined electro-thermal system based on multi-scenario stochastic programming is established. At last, a case of 6-node electric network and 7-node heating network is simulated to verify the effectiveness and economy of the proposed model and method.

Key words: Combined electro-thermal system, wind power accommodation, multi-scenario stochastic programming, day-ahead economic dispatch
