Phase Shifting Control Technology in High Voltage Electrostatic Precipitator Power Supply

Abstract:

Electrostatic precipitator (ESP) is widely used in industrial as well as household air purification. In order to solve a serious of problems, such as the uncertain, nonlinear and time-varying characteristics of the load of electrostatic precipitators, and the uncertainty of stray parameters of high frequency transformer. Some measures are taken. For example, LCC resonant transformer circuit is adopted to make rational use of stray parameters of high frequency transformer and reduce the volume of equipment. At the same time, a phase shift voltage control method based on PID control is introduced to realize the stable operation of the equipment under complex working conditions, also to make power devices work in the soft switch state, improving the working efficiency.The results of simulation and experiment show that the control method can improve the dynamic performance of high frequency and high voltage power supply for electrostatic precipitators, and the system is robust and better.
