Design of Photovoltaic Controller Based on Buck Chopper Converter with Three MOSFETs

Abstract:

The solar street lighting system is designed based on a three-MOSFETs Buck chopper converter, the improved RCD bootstrap circuit and TMS320F28027 in this paper. The hardware circuit of the photovoltaic controller is described. The charge control strategy, the power tracking control algorithm and synchronous rectification technology are researched,then the integrated control scheme for the photovoltaic controller is described in detail. A prototype is designed and the experiments are accomplished, the input and output voltage and the output power of the photovoltaic controller is analyzed. And the efficiency is 94.05% at maximum power point. The results show that the design of the photovoltaic controller is rational and high efficient.
