Optimal Analysis and Aided Decision-making Method for Power Purchase and Sales Strategy Based on Volume and Price Structure

Abstract:

Purchasing and selling electricity is the core business of power grid companies. With the deepening of the reform of transmission and distribution electricity prices, and the continuous reform of the multi-dimensional lean management system, grid companies need to optimize their strategies for purchasing and selling electricity, promote the optimization of power resources, and improve their operations level. Based on the research on power purchase and sales strategies of power grid enterprises, an optimization method for power purchase and sales based on volume and price structure is proposed. The method aims at reducing the overall average power purchase price and increasing the overall average power sales price. The distribution and influence of power purchase costs and power sales revenue among different components of electrical energy are quantitatively analyzed, visualization tools based on the proposed method are developed, and clear decision-making information for optimizing power purchase and sales strategies are provided.
