Fault Location Method for Distribution Network Based on Edge Computing and Wide Area Synchronous Measurement Technology

Abstract:

Aiming at the shortcomings of the existing single phase ground fault location technology in the distribution network, a new fault location method is proposed with the help of edge computing and wide-area synchronous measurement technology. First, based on the characteristics of single phase grounding, the two key technical principles and device design requirements of wide area synchronous wave recording and distribution network bus edge calculation are discussed. Then, a cosine similarity and Tonimoto coefficient algorithm model is established by the similarity measurement algorithm, and a new method for locating fault sections is proposed. Finally, based on the engineering application of the single phase grounding intelligent positioning system, it is verified that the positioning method is realistic and feasible in actual distribution network operation with high accuracy.
