Economic Dispatch Method for Islanding Microgrids Based on Distributed Control

Abstract:

The economic dispatch of islanding microgrids is gaining more and more attention. In view of the problems such as large amount of communication information, high communication cost, weak attackability and expansion in the centralized control of isolated islanding microgrids, a fully distributed microgrids economic dispatch method is proposed, which is based on the distributed algorithm only through the information exchange of the neighboring nodes about the respective micro incremental rates, and can achieve the optimal economic operation of microgrids, and improves the system control performance. The proposed method is verified through simulation by MATLAB for the economic dispatch of the islanding microgrids. The simulation results show that the proposed method can effectively solve the problem of large amount of communication information and high communication cost in centralized control method for the economic dispatch of microgrids.
