Abstract:

The 2 pole motor working in over 3000 r/min super-synchronous speed must use the frequency converter with 50Hz frequency power. For single-phase micromotor, there are some problems with the use of the frequency converter, like the large volume, high fees and poor engineering economy, through a simple and reliable method to make sure it could achieve the purpose of multiply increasing the motor speed. A frequency multiplication driver is designed and constructed to control the voltage which is inputed to the motor to make sure the single-phase micromotor could work in twice of original speed. The prototype test results show that the frequency multiplication driver could effectively control the frequency power to meet the need of the motor driver, it makes the single-phase micromotor speed to twice of original speed. The frequency multiplication driver is designed by common power electronic components, it has simple structure and costs low, it has advantage in energy-saving in motor speed contorl.
